Spring vs Autumn Cherry Trees

It’s time to go autumn leaf viewing (momiji-gari in Japanese).

Here’s an idea: go back to your favorite cherry blossom viewing spot and take a picture of  your favorite sakura tree. You’ll get beautiful “before” and “after” pictures.

Which one do you like best: cherry trees in spring or in autumn? Vote in the comments section (click on the heart on the top right) or on our Facebook page.

Cherry trees in autumn

Cherry trees are so beautiful in autumn with their leaves turning yellow and orange.

This picture was taken yesterday on Homer street, between Dunsmuir and West Georgia.

Thanks to the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival interactive map, I found out that they were Shirofugen cherry trees. I can’t wait to see them in bloom again.
