Applications Now Open for 2026!

The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival is looking for local artists with inspiration from around the world to entertain the people who flock to David Lam Park to spend time with their friends and family under the 100+ Cherry Blossom Trees.
‘The Big Picnic‘ is one day!
- Saturday, March 28th. 10:00am-4:30pm
- Set up by 10am, close at 4:30 and load out by 5:30pm .
‘Blossoms After Dark’ is 3 nights Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- March 27-29, 6:30-10pm.
- Set up and ready by 6:00pm. Close at 10pm. Load out by 11pm
These events are free and unite the whole community under the natural canopy of the Cherry Blossom trees.
Daytime Acts
Daytime acts will be high-energy, family-friendly and fun! We have 3 stages and will host small to medium-sized musical acts or performing artists. Roving Performers or non-musical acts should have some kind of Springtime, Cherry Blossom whimsy interactivity.
Evening Acts
Evening performances will be over 3 nights on smaller stages with musicians presenting acoustic styles and ambiance that accentuate the Blossoms After Dark experience. Roving Performers or non-musical acts have a luminous art or glow effect that enhances the magic in the park.
These events are free and unite our whole community through music, interactive art, a vendors market, lighting installations, food, beverages and play spaces for all ages in the heart of the city.
Applications
Applications will be reviewed and performers booked on a rolling basis until all performance slots have been filled.
Artists who are selected to perform at the 2026 Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival will be reached out to via email prior to January 31st, 2026.
They will be emailed about their availability/rates and then sent a Letter of Agreement.
