Public Disco and the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival are bringing back the Blossom Block Party to the Dunsmuir Patio at Bentall Centre (1055 Dunsmuir St.). Taking place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 2 to 9 PM, the event invites guests of all ages to gather for a day of music, art, and community just steps from iconic cherry blossoms outside Burrard SkyTrain Station.
New this year, the celebration expands with a car-free Dunsmuir Street, doubling the event’s footprint and creating more room to gather, move, and enjoy the arrival of spring in open air.
At the centre of the celebration is WAX & FLOWER, a vinyl-only, all-femme lineup curated by Kozue. Inspired by spring’s impermanence, the music unfolds naturally like petals opening on the dance floor. Moving through house, deep house, disco, soul, boogie, slow jams, and beyond, all guided by hands on wax. The music lineup features Sakiko Nagai from Toronto, as well as local artists Niña Mendoza and Beiti, and the curator herself, Kozue.

Beyond the dance floor, the Blossom Block Party will feature a variety of activations and experiences throughout the expanded site, including:
A $5 suggested donation for entry supports the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival’s many free programs around Vancouver each spring.
