Tea Ceremony in the Vancouver Japanese Gardeners Association Tea House

In 1959, by making Nitobe Garden in UBC, VJGA started as a business association for Japanese gardeners. To promote Japanese gardens and contribute their skills and knowledge in local society, they’ve made Japanese gardens at Vancouver City Hall, Nikkei Heritage Centre, Momiji Garden at PNE and VanDusen Botanical Garden etc. Please enjoy the beautiful Japanese garden with a NODATE style tea house. The group also showcases traditional Japanese festival activities, Yo-Yo fishing and selling face masks.
