It’s time to go autumn leaf viewing (momiji-gari in Japanese).
Here’s an idea: go back to your favorite cherry blossom viewing spot and take a picture of your favorite sakura tree. You’ll get beautiful “before” and “after” pictures.
Which one do you like best: cherry trees in spring or in autumn? Vote in the comments section (click on the heart on the top right) or on our Facebook page.

It’s a tough choice, but I really like the light in the golden leaves.
Great idea! One of my favorite blossom streets is Sussex in south Burnaby. It looks beautiful now, too. Hard to choose between spring and autumn.
Hi Jacquie.
I typed in “Sussex” in the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Interactive map (http://www.vcbf.ca/maps/Map.html) and it lead me to these beautiful pictures of Whitcomb cherry trees in bloom: http://www.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/forums/showpost.php?p=129455&postcount=1 It’s quite beautiful, indeed. Share some pics with us!
I posted my favorite cherry tree picture on the VCBF Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/VancouverCherryBlossomFestival I love umbrella-shaped trees the most.
Just realized I meant McKay St. (which is right next to Sussex). I’ll post a pic on the Facebook page.
