The 2009 Haiku Invitational is now closed.  We received 1400 haiku from 29 countries, including Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, India, Israel, Japan, Malta, New Zealand, Poland, Romania, Russia, Trinidad & Tobago, the United States, and the UK.
 
These countries are a mixture of the more exotic locations and the ones that sent us the greatest number.
